Super Burger Bar (c)2004 Ian Price - iprice@supanet.com

***PLEASE NOTE - DUE to BLITZ BASIC SOUND PROBLEMS, THIS GAME MAY REQUIRE CHANGING YOUR WINDOWS RESOLUTION TO 1024x768.***

Welcome to my remake of the 1982 Data East/Bally Midway arcade game, BurgerTime.
This game was created specially for the www.remakes.org 2004 competition.

The game can be played by one or two players simultaneously using keys or joypad(s). All controls are fully redefinable,
however default (QWERTY) keys are-

Player 1 - CURSOR KEYS and LEFT CTRL for pepper and LEFT SHIFT for special weapon.
Player 2 - QAOP and SPACE for pepper and TAB for special weapon.

The aim of the game is to make burgers from the ingredients strewn over the screen. These parts need to be dropped onto the
plate at the bottom of the screen to produce the complete burger. Move your chef over the burger pieces to make them drop to
the platform below. Completing all burgers moves you to the next level.

Whilst creating burgers, you are continually chased by hostile ingredients - hotdog sausages, eggs and tomatoes.
Collision with these will lose you one life. You do however have a limited number of pepper pots at the start of the game,
which you can sprinkle onto the enemies to temporarily disable them. Extra lives are awarded every 100000 points.

There are other useful ingredients that pop up from time to time - these are either activated immediately on touch, or stored
for a short time in a pocket. If you have an item in your pocket, you can use these by pressing your special weapon key.

Whilst the game is fully playable, I have had to cut-back or remove features that I had originally wished to include, due to time constraints -
these will be included in the fuller version which should be available from - http://mysite.freeserve.com/div/fullburger.zip during October.

Whilst this game has been playtested throughout development, bugs and other errors may well have crept in prior to entry into the competition.
If you spot a bug/unexpected error or the game crashes, please take the time to email the problem to me, so that I can identify and correct it.

Thankyou

Ian Price
